School/Library Site Council

Parents:  We are preparing to start elections to our Pleasanton Middle School's School/Library Site Council for  the 2011/12 school year and want you to be part of a team of administrators, teachers, parents and students who want Pleasanton Middle School to be the best it can be.  The Site Council is a program where members look at ways to effectively help school curriculum, instruction, organization and environment with funding provided by the School/Library Improvement Program.  Pleasanton Middle School has three vacancies for parents who would like to serve a two year term.  There will be approximately four meetings this year.  If you are interested, please submit your request with a brief background about yourself to KBuchanan@pleasanton.k12.ca.us by Thursday, November 17.   The following are restrictions for being on Site Council:

Parents shall not be employees of Pleasanton Middle School

Parents shall reside in Pleasanton

Parents shall have a student currently attending Pleasanton Middle School
