After School Library ProgramDue to the generous donations from our parent community to our PFA, this drop-in program runs from 3:15 until 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday. It is staffed by a credentialed teacher and all textbooks are available for use.

CJSF (California Junior Scholarship Federation) - This program is a statewide honor society that fosters pride in scholastic achievement and service to the community. Membership, which is neither automatic nor compulsory, is limited to 8th graders and second semester 7th graders. Eligibility is based upon previous semester’s grades. Students must take the initiative to apply during the sign-up period that is announced at the beginning of each semester. Meetings are held after school on a monthly basis.

Geography Bee - This activity is held each fall in conjunction with the state and nationwide Bees sponsored by the National Geographic Society. Each student takes a qualifying quiz in their history class and the top scorers advance to our school Bee. The winner of the school Bee then takes the written exam to advance to the statewide Bee.   We are very proud to have sent four students to the statewide competition in the last five years.

Student Council Representatives - Students meet monthly to discuss activities and dollars spent at our school. They then report back with the information to their advisement classes.
